Gems Cambridge International School rep’d and ripped Uganda’s 57th Independence Day celebrations in style last week. They showed off traditional drum performances over original compositions such as a song titled ”Uganda together” that seemed to wow the audience a lot. Others where traditional dances, drama and enactment
of folk tales.
Accompanied by their parents and teachers, Gems students stepped out in traditional attires that symbolised the day. Other performances where piano ensemble and school choir presenting songs of jubilation. Uganda Cranes footballer star Godfrey Sserunkuma was among the motivational guest speakers. He advised pupils to always follow their passion in order to succeed. We got pics.
