When you talk about the artists especially women who have really worked had to prove a point that they aren’t letting their career be on pause because of the pandemic brought about by covid 19 is spice Diana.
She has been so consistent with her works and projects and has successfully delivered to her fans and followers even when the music industry is still under total lock down.
The source management artist real names Namukwaya Hajarah aka spice Diana has been nominated in this year’s edition of the AFRIMA awards under the category of Best female artist in eastern Africa.
In this category, Diana is competing with two Uganda’s Rema Namakula and Afrie, Zuchu and Rosa Ree both from Tanzania and seven others. Other nominated Ugandans are Kenzo, Bebe cool and the B2C soldiers.
Spice Diana now joins female artists like Sheebah, Cindy and Irene Namatovu who have been previously nominated in these awards. Both Cindy and Sheebah have won as best female east Africa in the years they were nominated.
AFRIMA partnered with the African Union Commission and the awards event will be broadcast live on 84 television stations in 109 countries from Lagos.
